The Israel Ministry of Defence (IMOD), through its International Defence Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT), is leading a robust delegation of 25 Israeli defence companies at DEFEA 2025, the prestigious international defence and security exhibition taking place in Athens, Greece. Organised by the General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) and the Hellenic Manufacturers Association of Defence, the event highlights Israel’s global stature as a leader in defence innovation and its strong strategic partnership with Greece.

Nine cutting-edge companies are exhibiting at the SIBAT national pavilion, presenting advanced, battle-proven technologies across five major categories: Security and Protection, Weapon Systems, Unmanned and Autonomous Systems, Electronic Equipment and Hardware, and Cyber and Communication Systems. Sixteen additional leading Israeli companies, including industry giants Elbit Systems, IAI, and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, are also exhibiting independently.

The Israeli pavilion has attracted considerable interest from official delegations, security experts, and defence industry professionals, fostering high-level discussions and further deepening bilateral defence cooperation.

Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas, Head of SIBAT, stated, “The relationship between Israel and Greece is a testament to shared strategic objectives. Our strong defence collaboration enhances regional stability and this significant presence at DEFEA 2025 underlines our commitment to deepening these ties.”

Companies featured in the SIBAT pavilion include Creomagic, Dagan-Optics, Manta Air, Maris Tech, Omnisys, Rayzone Group, Robotican, RT LTA Systems, and Solarpaint. These firms are showcasing technologies such as thermal imaging, cyber intelligence tools, autonomous drones, intelligent communications, and energy solutions tailored for the battlefield.

The exhibition serves as a key platform for showcasing Israel’s defence ecosystem, promoting international cooperation, and expanding strategic defence partnerships in Europe and beyond.
