The 17th edition of the Joint Military Exercise Nomadic Elephant 2025 between the Indian Army and the Mongolian Armed Forces concluded with a formal closing ceremony held at the Special Forces Training Centre in Ulaanbaatar.

According to the Indian Army, the two-week-long exercise focused on enhancing interoperability and coordination between the two forces in conducting counter-terrorism and sub-conventional operations in semi-urban and mountainous terrain. Troops from both nations trained alongside each other, sharing best practices, tactical expertise, and fieldcraft techniques in complex operational environments.

The closing ceremony featured a display of tactical drills and a cultural exchange, symbolising the strong military-to-military engagement and mutual respect between the two countries.
