Xi Jinping, Chairman of the Central Military Commission, has signed an order to issue new regulations governing the development of military facilities, according to state-run Xinhua News Agency.

Set to come into effect on 1 August, the regulations are designed to strengthen combat readiness and align with the evolving command structure and support systems of China’s armed forces.

The newly issued rules aim to standardise core principles, management systems, operational procedures, and institutional requirements related to the construction and development of military infrastructure.

The regulations are detailed across 11 chapters and encompass a total of 63 articles.
